Canoeing at Sugar Creek Campground

Looking for something fun to do with the family? Our canoe trips are perfect daytime activities. Lasting between 3 and 7 hours, even overnight in some cases, you get plenty of time on the water and float right into the campground. Departing 7 days a week from 9:00am to 1:00pm EST, at the top of every hour when water levels are below 2.6.

You will have plenty of opportunities to enjoy a lazy day on the creek.

Sugar Creek Campground does not offer transporting / shuttling for customers which bring their own canoes.

Sugar Creek Campground isn't just another "set up your tent and sit around a fire" campsite. We are fully equipped for camping, concerts, and canoeing, kayaking & tubing along the famous Sugar Creek.

In order to canoe and/or kayak at Sugar Creek Campground you must have a signed waiver on file with the front office. Waivers can be picked up at the front office, or printed here.
